Valentines

Standard

I feel like I should address the day, even though I’m not doing anything to celebrate (I did get a great package from my mom though, with chocolate, and new pjs). Instead I’ve spent the day planking around. I didn’t have class, so I’ve been reading, and doing laundry, and trying to digest my giant pancake breakfast all day. I don’t really like pancakes that much (I prefer waffles), but they’re festive, and I try to practice making them because I’ve decided that it’s important to be able to make nice breakfasts. Most days I don’t- if I have time I’ll eat a grapefruit, but it’s usually cereal, and sometimes pb&j on a tortilla if I’m in too much of a hurry and need to take something with me to eat as I sprint for the bus. Breakfast can be so much more than that though, and so I will continue to work on my pancake chops. I meant to have a breakfast party at some point this year, but I never got around to it before I moved, and now it will have to wait until I move again.
