Granted, it wasn’t 100% what I wanted, which was my dad’s pecan-crusted catfish meuniere, but it was still super tasty. And in burrito form! I had hoped to have fried catfish with meuniere sauce last night, but the soul food place was out of fish, so today after my peds final I went to the grocery store and bought some tilapia filets. They didn’t have any fresh, so I ended up getting frozen, but I honestly didn’t even care, because frying stuff is scary.
As soon as I got home I set to making the sauce, which is both easy, and incredible. It’s just cream, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, lemons, and butter, and it legit tastes like heaven- I may have eaten several spoonfuls plain while I waited for my fish to cook.
